The coaches and executive committee have decided to postpone the start of practice by one week. We have traditionally always started the second week in August, but because we thought we had to be at a jamboree in the middle of the month we pushed it up. It turns out the jamboree is not required, and most teams do not attend.
For this reason, and because we have at least a handful of families out all of next week, we have decided to simply push practice out by one week. The entire schedule remains the same as far as days, times, location etc.
We will do gear check out for the hour before practice on Monday 8/8.
The coaches feel that with our first game on 9/10/22 starting on 8/8/22 gives us plenty of time to prepare. We would rather start with majority of families there and do gear check out one time instead of having to do a second gear check out. This will also have all of our players and cheerleaders starting the season together and will not leave such a big portion having to play catch up come week two.
